Not a Box and Upturn have collaborated for many camps - for all age groups. Upturn is a wonderful organization that provides engaging and fun experiences for children. The team at Upturn meticulously plans every detail to ensure that the program is executed flawlessly. What we at NAB loved was that their philosophy was exactly the same as ours- kids matter most! And they went out of their way to ensure that the experience is fun and meaningful for every single child attending the camps!

Play is the highest form of research" - Albert Einstein. And at Upturn Learning, the children discover the joy of learning, reading and exploring in a playful and fun way. I have been associated with Upturn Learning as a parent and as a storyteller. My son is part of the Digital Detox community and I have collaborated with ULC through my venture Storytiki, conducting story sessions for kids! Upturn Learning is really upturning conventional ideas about community, learning and what can be achieved by the young people of today. Ishu, radiates positivity and a sense of purpose which drives the Upturn vision in everything they do. Hoping for more upturning experiences soon!

Well, send them your heart…So they know that someone cares....” lyrics we are all familiar with the sincere sentiment of coming together to make a better world - for you, for me and the entire human race. These beautiful words truly encapsulate the essence and spirit of Upturn. This is what they do ... they reach out whole heartedly to make that difference! With a vision that embodies clear intent, embedded in endless efforts and actualised in concerted action; an experience with upturn is exactly that - an “experience” that makes a wholesome impact, inspires learning, serves as a catalyst for meaningful change and connects people through nurturing bonds that are sure to last a lifetime!

UpTurn Learning conducted a workshop at our school for young parents on screen time and making parenting a memorable journey. Ishwarya's sensible sense of humour helped parents connect instantly and set them in a reflective mode yet helped them remain hopeful of change. With simple and useful examples, she took them through ways of living purposefully, mindfully and growing along with their children making their childhood a pleasurable one!

Mrs. Rajeshwari Bharath, Soundarya Central School

I had joined UpTurn in 2018 with the summer program called Digital Detox, which was a really great experience for me. I have been a part of this community ever since. UpTurn has given me various opportunities to grow as a person, and given me so many chances to express myself through theatre, public speaking and writing. I am so happy to be a part of this amazing community and am so glad for the friends and mentors I have here!!

‘’

Urja Srivastava, Teen from the community

To me Upturn is a movement, not an organization. A movement in parenting and child care much needed in the challenging times we live in. Parenting is the most difficult job on the planet and the risks of not getting right have long term implications on society. Join the Upturn movement and make life beautiful!

Naresh Purushotham, Executive Leadership Coach

We’ve loved partnering with the Upturn team for multiple events over the past year. They always bring a lot of passion and energy into the events. Most importantly, I feel they spend a lot of time behind the scenes trying to make their experiences extremely thoughtful and relevant for parents and children. Wishing Upturn all the success!
